With expertise in both public and private sectors, Maya combines strategic insight, cultural awareness, and hands-on experience.
She has held leadership roles, including five years on the Melrose Human Rights Commission, and she designs impactful workshops on topics like unconscious bias and intersectionality.
As a city councilor in Melrose, MA, Maya champions inclusive policies and fosters community engagement.

Michelle Ramadan is an experienced DEI consultant and educator with expertise in curriculum development, institutional policy design, and creating inclusive environments.
As a consultant with Kanj DEI Consulting, she helps organizations implement equitable policies and practices.
Michelle is also the co-founder of Liberation Learning Collective, supporting DEI initiatives in education, and has previously served as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair at a secondary school, leading policy implementation and educator training.
She also serves as the Equity Coordinator at a community arts center in Melrose, MA, fostering an inclusive creative community.
